In 1984, Jan Carlsson started the engine for Formac. At that time, the car dealer often placed an advertising decal in the rear window, but during a trip in the US, Jan discovered that the advertisement was placed directly on the license plate instead. Smart, Jan thought, who brought the idea home and launched a license plate holder with an interchangeable ad strip in Sweden. That was how Formac started his journey. Today, a Formac product sits on virtually every car that drives on the roads - we are very proud of that.
On the Nordic roads
Today, we have grown and are a leader in customer-unique prints and Swedish-made innovative profile products for car dealers, workshops and traffic educators. We have expanded our views and are now rolling out our products along the roads throughout the Nordic region.
